Common questions
Good questions to ask before you call.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. Your first conversation is free and comes with no obligation. We’ll talk through your situation and tell you how we can help.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the size and complexity of the work. After the consultation, you’ll get the scope and fee in writing before anything starts, so there are no surprises.
Can I switch from my current accountant?
Yes, and it’s easier than most people expect. We’ll handle the handover, request what we need and make sure no deadlines are missed along the way.
I’m behind on my filings. Can you still help?
Absolutely. We regularly help clients catch up on unfiled returns and overdue books, and we’ll work with the CRA on your behalf where needed.
Do I need to come to your office?
No. We work with clients across Ontario by phone and video. You’re welcome to meet at our Brampton office by appointment.
What should I have ready for the first meeting?
Nothing is required. If it’s handy, your most recent tax return, financial statements or any CRA letters help us get up to speed faster.
Do you work with QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes. We work with both and can set up, clean up or take over your existing system.
